7-weeks to Queensland SWANN SERIES kicks off

There is only one warm affordable and easy place to go racing in winter if you live in the southern States and that is north just across the border to South East Queensland, which is for most NSW based competitors less than a day’s drive away.

The recent first two rounds of the SWANN SUPER SERIES at Sydney Motorsport Park Raceway had record sized fields and produced lots of great racing. There is no doubt that the upcoming Queensland Raceway rounds will also produce more top notch racing and should not be missed.

This is the best time of year to race in Queensland weatherwise and that always translates into close and exciting racing and if you are NSW based and competing in the SWANN SUPER SERIES then this is the only away race meeting of the year. So, with just over 7 weeks to go until the mid-season double header event of the 2017 SWANN SUPER SERIES it’s time to start planning for that trip north to warmer climes.

This year the six-round format was condensed to 3 events so as to provide the most affordable and fun, high media profile, maximum track time, race meetings we could for all competitors racing in the SWANN SUPER SERIES race meetings.

The third and fourth rounds of the SWANN SUPER SERIES at Queensland Raceway on the 14th to 16th July will be run just like rounds one and two of the series that were run at Sydney Motorsport Park Raceway.  The Queensland event will provide an optional full day of practice on Friday with Qualifying and racing on Saturday and racing on Sunday. The Superbike class will have two slightly longer races on Saturday and the usual three races Sunday. All other classes will once again receive six races over the two days.  All of each day’s racing, including post-race interviews, will be shown live via MotorsportsTV and various high profile motorcycling websites and Facebook pages. So, no matter where your family and friends are they can watch your racing on their mobile phones, Ipads and or at home on their Smart TV’s or lap tops.

When it comes to additional exposure for competitors add on top of the live coverage the post produced and shown six x one hour Sunday afternoon SBS Speedweek shows and similar six x one hour Fox Sports TV shows which again showcases each and every class, as well as the C&D Stars of Tomorrow and AM-Sport 600 stand-alone races. This provides unequalled high profile media exposure for all the series stakeholders being the competitors, their sponsors as well as the various series championship sponsors.

The series and or one off round entryform for the Queensland SWANN SUPER SERIES event is available now. A subsidized transport package from Sydney to Qld Raceway and back will be announced in coming days.
